The role is offered on a part-time basis (60%) of the full-time equivalent, based on 40 hours per week. The role is also offered as a hybrid model (to be aligned with the school calendar). Full-time may be considered.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Conference and Events to lead the planning, organisation, and execution of high-quality conferences, seminars, workshops, and educational events (residential and non-residential).
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event management, preferably within the education sector, and will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and industry experts to create experiences that help inspire and inform educators, students, and academic professionals. Business development will be a critical element of this role, so the energy and enthusiasm to take on new challenges is essential. We also plan to build capacity within our Events team, so some experience in managing people will be important.
Utilising irreducible spare capacity across the site and our superb facilities, the individual will help attract business that will generate income for the College and support our Community.
