Davethan Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global IT Procurement & Sales Lead to manage and grow our global IT procurement and sales operations. This critical role will focus on building relationships with global suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement processes, and driving sales efforts across international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, extensive experience in IT procurement, and a proven ability to lead global sales initiatives.
Role Overview
The Head of Corporate and Business Affairs will play a pivotal role in shaping the corporate strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across Davethan Technologies UK and Davethan Innovative Tech Hub in Nigeria. This leader will oversee regulatory compliance, public affairs, partnership development, and brand positioning, driving the company's growth and reputation globally.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy and Governance : Develop and implement strategies to align corporate goals across both branches. Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks in the UK, Nigeria, and other operational regions. Oversee internal policies and their compliance with local and international laws.
Partnership Development : Build and sustain strategic relationships with government bodies, international organizations, and industry leaders. Lead negotiations for high-impact collaborations, such as technology partnerships and client agreements. Represent Davethan at industry events and forums to position the brand as a leader in tech innovation.
Public Affairs and Communications : Manage all external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across regions. Develop strategies to enhance Davethan's corporate visibility, including media relations and branding campaigns. Handle crisis communication and act as a spokesperson when necessary.
CSR and Community Engagement : Design and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to support Davethan's mission in Africa. Foster community partnerships to strengthen local impact in Nigeria.
Business Development and Advocacy : Identify opportunities for market expansion and innovation. Advocate for Davethan's interests with stakeholders in public and private sectors.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Corporate Law, Public Affairs, or related fields. 7+ years in corporate strategy, public affairs, or business development, preferably in technology or multinational organizations. Strong knowledge of regulatory environments in the UK and Nigeria. Proven track record in stakeholder management and partnership development. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross-culturally and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
