Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Cyber Security to join our team at our Head Office in Liverpool, UK. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization's global cybersecurity program, ensuring the protection of enterprise information assets while enabling business growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive security strategies, leading a global team, and working closely with executive leadership to manage cyber risks across the organization.

The role combines technical expertise with business acumen to build a resilient security framework that addresses current threats while preparing for emerging challenges, all within the context of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. As a key member of the senior management team, this position plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing the organization's security vision while fostering a strong security culture throughout the enterprise.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Required Competencies

Strategic thinking and business acumen. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent project and program management skills. Outstanding communication and presentation abilities. Crisis management and decision-making under pressure. Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.

Required Work Experience

10+ years of information security experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles. CISO or equivalent experience in a multinational organization.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field. Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent). Proven track record of building and leading global security teams. Deep understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls). Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication.

Desired Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field. Additional certifications (CCSP, FAIR, CRISC).
