We are hiring for a Head of Cyber Security to join our wider Governance, Risk and Compliance team and to lead a small security team. You will continuously enhance and deliver our cyber security strategy ensuring it is fully embedded into internal ways of working and product development. You will have experience of working in a SaaS organisation in regulated environments ideally within the fintech space. Key responsibilities You will be responsible for the design and operational delivery of AccessPay’s cyber security strategy. You will lead security initiatives ensuring that these are aligned to relevant regulatory and industry standards. Proactively assess vulnerabilities through penetration testing, threat modelling, and regular security assessments, and implement mitigation plans. Ensure that security risks and threats are well documented and communicated at a senior leadership level. Establish robust incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. Build collaborative cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, and technology operations to ensure that security is well embedded into processes and AccessPay’s products. Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, compliance, and legal, to embed security into all processes and products. Be an expert in the cyber security field staying ahead of emerging threats and technologies. You will proactively drive security awareness and training across the business. Lead, coach, and develop the cyber security team. What experience will you bring? Previous leadership experience in the cyber security space in a regulated business, ideally fintech. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2) and identity/access management. Certifications like CISSP or CISM are a plus. Proficiency in risk assessment, incident management, and vulnerability testing. What type of person are you? An exceptional leader who is passionate about growing and developing the team.
