Director of Finance and Resources , within a new executive structure at a time of exciting change and transformation for PDSA, this role will play a pivotal role in driving a data-driven culture that empowers decision-making and enhances performance across our organisation. With over 2,000 employees and 2,000 volunteers supporting 49 PDSA Pet Hospitals, delivering 2.7 million treatments annually, we operate at a scale unmatched by any other UK veterinary charity. As Head of Data and Analytics, you will: Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive data and reporting strategy that aligns with PDSA’s goals, enabling better decisions and measurable results. Fostering a Data-Driven Culture:

Embed data as a core business tool, promoting the value of analytics across all teams and levels of the organisation. Advanced Analytics and Insights:

Lead the creation of actionable dashboards, reports, and KPIs that ensure a single version of the truth and drive business performance. Data Governance and Compliance:

Oversee frameworks to maintain data quality, integrity, and security, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulations. Innovation and Execution:

Keep PDSA at the forefront of emerging trends in data technologies, while managing the timely delivery of data projects within budget. Team Leadership:

Inspire, manage, and develop a talented team to deliver impactful results and grow their professional capabilities. Qualifications

We’re seeking an innovative leader with: Proven experience in senior data management, analytics, and business intelligence roles. Technical expertise in tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI, combined with knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and advanced analytics techniques. The ability to align data strategies with business goals, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders and teams. Strong leadership skills to inspire teams and build cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
