The Role As the Head of Data Platform, you will be at the helm of the data transformation, tasked with creating a scalable, cloud-first strategy that will empower teams to access and use data independently. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Development and having four direct reports, you will lead the way in designing and implementing systems that enable high-performance reporting, transactional data access, and seamless integration with tools like Power BI. This role is more than building a platform - it's about enabling an organisational culture where data becomes central to every decision. Alongside developing the technology, you will play a crucial role in building and mentoring your team, ensuring the right people are in place to drive success. With full autonomy, you'll also have the freedom to experiment with and implement modern technologies, such as Azure Fabric, and drive scalable solutions that align with the needs of the business.
