As the Head of Data Science, you will be at the forefront of the technical and strategic vision in the analytics and data science domain. Your expertise and leadership experience in the data science domain will help influence and shape the future of data-driven products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading the UK Data Science Team (8 Direct reports) Collaborate with the engineering and product practices. Team management, including recruitment, onboarding, and developing of top talent. Partner closely with C-Suite management to present project/product results. Help drive end-to-end data science and implement AI/Machine Learning. Ensuring that all data science deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy & reliability. Leading the end-to-end process of model development. Who You Are: Have a master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Machine Learning or related field. Proven track record of successfully leading Data/Machine Learning teams. Experienced in building and deploying a variety of models. Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to communicate effectively and explain technical/complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experienced in Python, SQL, Tensorflow and a cloud platform. Our client is in an exciting phase of their growth and as a Head of Data Science you will have the opportunity to put your stamp on an already established business during this phase of development. Operating with a hybrid business model, you'll be required to come into the Manchester office 2 days per week to collaborate with fellow colleagues.
