Head of Dealer and Business Systems

to ensure our dealer network is empowered with world-class IT solutions to match our award-winning trucks. Who Are You?

You’re an IT leader with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of how to integrate technology with business objectives. You have experience working with

Microsoft Cloud technologies

and comprehensive knowledge of

IT architecture principles . You understand

commercial environments , and you’re experienced in managing network systems and IT services to deliver top-tier customer satisfaction. Your expertise also extends to integrating critical business systems and applications, such as

ERP

and

CRM , to streamline operations and enhance data flow. You have a strong understanding of licensing laws and relevant legislation, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. You also have experience in

managing and leading teams , inspiring them to deliver exceptional results while aligning IT strategies with broader business goals. What Volvo Trucks Can Offer You:

In this role, you will lead a talented team consisting of the IT Manager and their apprentices, as well as the Dealer System Specialists, Business Systems Specialists and BI Developers. Additionally, you’ll work with our Dealer network of up to 80 locations and more than 2000 users, alongside our private dealership partners, ensuring smooth IT operations across the UK and Ireland. What Will You Do?

Drive the implementation of Volvo Trucks’ IT strategy to meet the support needs of our Dealer Network, ensuring the overall market IT architecture is maintained and aligned with the Volvo Trucks roadmap and long-term objectives. Oversee local dealer management systems, IT teams, and infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable operations. Lead and coordinate dealer network user groups, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices. Integrate business systems, such as ERP and CRM, to create seamless workflows and efficient data flow. Manage and maintain the data centres, network systems, and hardware resources to ensure reliability and peak performance. Enhance end-user competence by developing key user networks, providing targeted training, and monitoring system usage to ensure optimal application of existing dealer systems. Manage IT budgets with a focus on cost efficiency while ensuring top-tier service delivery. Lead IT projects from conception to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate and lead the development of
