Ada Meher is currently resourcing for a candidate to join an award-winning eCommerce Platform Vendor & Shopify Plus Partner who are looking to add a Head of Development to their established Shopify development function as they look to continue to mature their processes and standards following a successful growth phase. The successful candidate will look after 3 squads of Devs & QA Engineers to help them develop and grow as well as undertake critical strategic projects such as a move towards automation testing.
Responsibilities:
Oversee 3 squads of Developers and QA Engineers. Drive high performance teams and act as a point of escalation for technical issues. Implement new processes and standards into the team. Mentor and develop a team of Developers, including conducting 1-to-1s. Lead strategic projects, including automation testing initiatives.
Requirements: Demonstrable work history in Shopify Development. Experience with Custom Themes & Liquid, as well as vanilla JavaScript. High level experience in Automation Testing would be a benefit.

This role is able to be worked on a hybrid remote basis; however, you can expect to travel into their Leeds offices a few times a week, so should be located within a commutable distance.
