Head of Digital – 6 Month Contract – Sussex – Inside IR35 VIQU have partnered with an NHS client who are seeking a Head of Digital to assist on a short-term contract. The role: The successful Head of Digital will play an important role in driving the Trust’s digital strategy and oversee the delivery of digital systems within the organisation. Responsibilities for the Head of Digital: Drive and deliver digital strategy Management of the Digital Service Team and oversight of all digital systems in the Trust. This includes Infrastructure, Network, Security, End-User Services, Software. Implement infrastructure plan and Digital Services function Set and maintain standards for system implementation/upgrades, support, maintenance Collaborate with and advise senior management on improvement programmes Oversight of projects including rollout of new services Monitor and control departmental expenditure Ensure digital systems work in compliance with national guidelines Key skills and experience: Solid leadership experience and ability/acumen to drive business strategy Experience in NHS or public-sector would be a plus Experience in digital service design and operational service delivery Experience overseeing a range of digital projects Risk management & compliance knowledge Strong communication skills and ability to network and build partnerships to allow for continuous improvement.
