We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital to lead our growing team and take our digital marketing capabilities to the next level.

Role Overview

The Head of Digital will be responsible for developing and executing Spotlime Media’s digital marketing strategies, overseeing digital campaigns, and leading a team of digital specialists. As the primary leader for all digital initiatives, you will collaborate closely with senior management to ensure that digital strategies align with the company’s overarching business objectives. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing. Collaborate with senior management to align digital strategies with overall business objectives.

Digital Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, social media, email, display ads, etc.). Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives to optimize campaign effectiveness. Ensure campaigns are executed within budget and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and tailor digital marketing strategies accordingly. Provide strategic direction and consulting to clients on best practices in digital marketing. Ensure client satisfaction through timely reporting, campaign updates, and proactive communication.

Team Development: Foster a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented team culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help team members develop professionally. Manage the recruitment and training of new team members as the team expands.

Analytics & Reporting: Leverage analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies. Provide regular reports on campaign performance and key metrics, with recommendations for continuous improvement. Use data insights to drive decision-making and optimize digital strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in a senior digital marketing role, with a strong understanding of digital channels and techniques (SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, etc.). Solid leadership experience, with the ability to lead a team, inspire creativity, and foster professional development. Strong understanding of digital analytics and performance metrics (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to executing digital campaigns. Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.). Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage relationships and deliver excellent customer service. Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and general IT skill. Excellent organisational skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience with eCommerce marketing or lead generation strategies. Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, and paid media campaigns. Familiarity with design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). Previous experience in an agency environment. Have a good understanding of the principles and values of the company and the Muslim community in the UK. This knowledge and insight will be considered a significant advantage in executing relevant content and effective digital strategies.
