Standard Purpose of Role: The Head of Ecommerce role is new and central to the growth and commercial success of the business. They will devise and implement a strategy, and lead a team to: Dramatically increase the proportion of Ecommerce sales across both B2B and B2C Create – together with other responsible departments - an omnichannel journey which optimises both CX and profit Design, implement and continually review and improve a digital channel management/distribution strategy Main Responsibilities: Digital strategy Devise and implement a robust ecommerce strategy which will dramatically increase the proportion of online sales across B2B and B2C channels. Step-change the performance of all digital channels by driving significant improvements in user-experience and profitability. Identify market opportunities and trends and keep up to date with the latest technologies and techniques to inform strategic Ecommerce decisions and enhance our competitive edge. Performance analysis & optimisation Continuously analyse ecommerce performance, utilising data and insights to optimise results, daily, and make strategic adjustments when needed. Work closely with your team, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive initiatives that improve conversion rates and overall business performance through: SEO CRO UX Website development Paid digital advertising Affiliates and referrals Design, implement, and continually review a digital channel management and distribution strategy that drives sales and customer loyalty.
