Head of eCommerce
to take ownership of our online channel, delivering exceptional sales and profit results while enhancing the customer experience. As part of our leadership team, you will shape and execute the ecommerce strategy, ensuring alignment with our omnichannel objectives. Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, you will lead a talented team of 5 direct reports and a broader group of approximately 15, working across categories, digital merchandising, content, and campaign planning. This role is pivotal to the success of our ecommerce business and will play a key role in driving innovation and customer lifetime value. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead the eCommerce Strategy
– Develop and execute growth-focused ecommerce strategies, ensuring our online retail, vets, and grooming services thrive. (Primary focus: retail). Maximise Sales & Profit
– Own trade planning and performance reporting, delivering corrective actions to stay on budget. Collaborate Across Teams
– Work cross-functionally to influence and align with marketing, logistics, and supply chain teams to drive availability and fulfilment. Drive Innovation
– Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and customer behaviours to identify new opportunities. Customer-Centric Focus
– Optimise customer journeys, ensuring seamless online experiences that drive conversions and engagement. Operational Excellence
– Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, collaborating with digital operations to enhance customer satisfaction and commercial outcomes. Content Leadership
– Oversee content strategy and campaign planning, ensuring optimal messaging and engagement across platforms. Empower and Develop Teams

– 10+ years of experience, with proven leadership at Head of level in a large retail business. Strategic Vision & Delivery
