The role will be wonderfully diverse, combining elements of team management whilst ensuring the engineering strategy for the site is on the correct path for huge success! Working closely with other Senior Managers on site you will be gifted with plenty of autonomy to get the results you want!
Sitting on the SLT, the Head of Engineering is absolutely pivotal to the business. You will be very much involved in short, medium, long term strategies - both within engineering but also site wide.
With a huge amount of investment currently happening you will also be involved in lots of project work with ongoing improvements and installations happening throughout. You will also have full control of the engineering budget, including controlling P&L.
As a close knit site, the cultural fit is absolutely key, therefore my client is looking for genuine team players who want to be part of the exciting journey that they are currently on!
Minimum Requirements: Food / FMCG experience is key, as is a proven background in this sector as a Chief Engineer / Head of Engineering, with experience of leading multi-disciplined engineering teams.
