Wolverhampton (i54) Tyman UK and Ireland have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Engineering to join Access 360, providing steady leadership across design engineering and process engineering functions. As a Head of Engineering, your role will be to ensure the integration and optimisation of product design, development and manufacturing processes; leading a team of engineers to drive innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement across all parts of the Engineering function. What you'll be doing:

Leading, mentoring and developing a team of design and process engineers. Developing and optimising robust manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness. Driving lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Overseeing product design and development processes to ensure customer demands, certification and regulatory standards are met. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of design and manufacturing. Developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with wider business objectives and representing the Engineering function in strategic planning and decision-making processes. Leading engineering projects from concept, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence and coordination with other departments to achieve project goals. Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team and wider teams. What we're looking for:

Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering related field (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial). Significant experience of leading Engineering teams within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record in both design engineering and process engineering. Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Previous experience in a similar industry is highly advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. About Us
