Head of English Full time, Permanent Upper Pay Scale plus TLR 1A To start in September 2025 Following the retirement of our longstanding and successful Head of English, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability to join us as Head of English at Saint George’s CE School. As Head of English, you will lead, develop and promote excellence in the teaching and learning of English (including Media and Film Studies) from KS3 to KS5. You will lead a passionate, enthusiastic and collaborative team of teachers to further improve the education our pupils receive in English; the successful candidate will have the vision and leadership to lead a strong department to even greater successes. The school has an existing reputation for high quality education with a relentless focus upon high expectations and aspirations.
