Your new role Diversify income streams and motivate staff. Monitor performance and provide management info. Ensure financial health and value for money, and align financial planning with business goals. Develop budgets and support funding bids, and advise on governance and risk management. Provide financial info to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with laws and agreements. Oversee HR functions and develop policies, and implement Learning and Development Strategy. Review staffing levels and ensure compliance. Develop ICT strategies and safeguard data. Manage facilities and ensure a safe environment. Oversee IT infrastructure and suppliers. Monitor quality systems and update policies. Communicate effectively within the organisation. Build relationships with stakeholders. Contribute to innovation and share best practices. Deputise for the CEO and attend board meetings.

What you'll need to succeed Third level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Fully qualified accountant, having successfully completed the professional examinations (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, CIMA, ICAS, ICAEW). Minimum of three years’ experience in a senior role, with responsibility for finance and governance, with an evidenced track record in diversifying income streams for an organisation. Minimum of three years’ experience in successfully managing people or teams to deliver results. Experience of developing and delivering continuous improvement initiatives and securing staff buy-in to proposed changes. Desirable: experience within the charity/voluntary sector.
