Head of Finance - Blackburn (onsite) - Permanent - Up to £90,000 + Bonus IN2 Consult are partnered with an instantly recognisable brand based in Blackburn to support them with hiring a new Head of Finance for a regional division. This role is office based, however, offers flexibility around this as well as flexible start and finish times. The Head of Finance will be managing a large, multi-disciplined team within a fast paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function, ensuring financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk management. Ensure robust financial controls and governance frameworks are in place. Oversee tax, treasury, and audit functions. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Present financial reports and performance updates to the board and stakeholders. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiencies. Key Requirements
Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with at least 7 years PQE. Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally as a Head of Finance, Finance Director, or Senior Financial Controller. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic decisions. Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. Hands-on experience with financial planning, analysis, and risk management. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Seniority level
