About the Role As Head of Finance, you will be based at Amadeus Capital Partners' Cambridge office and take a leadership role, managing a small team. Your responsibilities will span fund accounting, corporate accounting, and strategic financial leadership. You will report directly to the General Counsel while collaborating closely with the CEO, playing a pivotal role in the company's growth and success. This role will develop beyond traditional finance; you will represent Amadeus at conferences, industry events, and deliver presentations at the Annual General Meeting and offer the potential to broaden your skills into Investor Relations activities.
About You We are looking for an experienced finance professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will: Be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Likely have trained within a large audit firm before transitioning to industry. Bring substantial experience in corporate accounting, financial analysis, and financial compliance. (Ideally) have experience in fund accounting or regulated finance, though this is not essential. You should also possess excellent networking and communication skills, with the confidence to represent Amadeus in high-profile settings and build relationships across the industry.
