Our client is seeking a Head of Finance with a focus on Commissioning and Benchmarking. This role offers the opportunity to lead in managing provider activity and agreements, monitor internal reporting for performance management, and manage financial commissioning aspects. You will also be responsible for the financial flows and reserves management of commissioning and provider arrangements, and contribute to the financial management agenda and strategy across the organisation. Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager

Manage provider activity and agreements for out of area patients Monitor and support internal reporting of provider activity Manage financial commissioning aspects of resident activity Professionally advise the board in the preparation, presentation, and assessment of clinical service development business cases Take lead responsibility on a day-to-day basis of the management of the Finance Commissioning and Costing & Benchmarking Team Deputise for the two Assistant Directors of Finance and Deputy Director of Finance as appropriate Key Essentials of the Finance Manager

CCAB Professionally qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience Extensive NHS finance experience with significant experience at a senior management level within the NHS or equivalent body Specialist expertise and experience of the NHS costing & commissioning processes and systems In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, financial aspects of NHS legislation, and NHS finance policies Experience of negotiating and dealing with difficult situations of conflict Significant managerial experience of managing people and staff About the job Contract Type: Interim Management Specialism: Accountancy & Finance Focus: CFO/Finance Director/Financial Controller Come join our global team of creative thinkers, problem solvers and game changers.
