Lead for the Health Board in managing Provider activity and agreements (for out of area patients), including Long Term Agreements (LTA's), high cost exclusions, and non-contracted activity. Monitor and support internal reporting of C&V UHB provider activity for C&V UHB residents for benchmarked internal performance management. Assist and provide leadership to the Assistant Director of Finance - Business Partnering (Specialist and Children and Women) in negotiating and managing the Health Care Agreement for the provision of specialist services to WHSSC. Assist and provide leadership in negotiating Health Care Agreements for the provision of services to other Local Health Boards. Assist and provide leadership in recovering maximum income for the services provided and in monitoring financial performance. Required Skills and Experience
CCAB Professionally qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience. Extensive NHS finance experience with significant experience at a senior management level within the NHS or equivalent body. Specialist expertise and experience of the NHS costing & commissioning processes and systems.
