Job Description
As Head of Finance, reporting the the CFO, you will manage a team of 8, across Management Accounts, Financial Accounts, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Responsibilities will include Ownership of the monthly and quarterly accounting process Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statutory accounts. Review and improve financial processes to deliver improved efficiency Supporting the CFO with strategic goals, and in the creation of budgets and forecasts Reconciliation of all control and bank accounts Provision of insights and analysis based on accounting trends Tight management of the cash position, including agreement of revised payment plans with key creditors where necessary Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes. Promote financial awareness and understanding across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant The successful Head of Finance should have: A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Multi-site experience in a related industry - leisure, hospitality, retail, healthcare etc (service providers from multiple locations with multiple cost bases) Tight financial control and credit management skills Excellent leadership skills and the ability to strategically lead a team. A commercial understanding to drive financial decisions Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
This role is based on site near Dartford 3 days per week
