4c Executive is partnering up with a well-established charity with over 35 years of experience in the care sector as they seek to appoint a Head of Finance & IT to support the organisation in the delivery of their strategic growth and expansion plans.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Head of Finance & IT will develop and implement a Finance and IT strategy that will contribute to the long-term growth, success, and financial sustainability of the organisation. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for ensuring good governance in place for both Finance and IT functions, having a close relationship with auditing bodies. Having both operational and strategic responsibilities, the post-holder will be responsible for leading the provision of timely and accurate financial information, analysis, and reports, adding commentary and strategic insight which will be presented to the Senior Management Team, the Board of Trustees, and relevant Committees. Experience

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and will lead with integrity, demonstrating a strong set of values. They should possess the following essential skills and experience: Fully qualified Accountant holding current professional membership (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CCAB). Experience in management accounting, budget preparation, financial analysis & reporting. Significant post-qualification experience which includes successfully managing and developing teams. Experience in an organisation operating in a competitive environment with limited resources. Demonstrable experience of reviewing existing and implementing new Finance and company-wide IT systems. Proven track record of working with a diverse range of stakeholders and developing effective relationships as well as experience of presenting to Executive Teams and/or at Board level. Apply Now
