Axon Moore are working in exclusive partnership with a growing, highly profitable, cash rich organisation based in Barnsley as they look to hire a Head of Finance into the finance function.
The group has grown organically over the last 5 years and now stands as a market leader within the industry.
As this is a highly visible role you will be expected to bring a commercial skill-set and report directly into the Managing Director. As the organisation is growing and profitable the focus of this role will be in the following areas, commercial analysis, forecasting, project management & operational efficiencies. No one day will be the same & a defined career path will be carved for the right candidate.
The role has direct line management of finance (2 heads) and customer services (3 heads), therefore a strong leader is required for the role.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of monthly / quarterly reporting and business review packages for senior business leaders. Provide strategic guidance to the Managing Director and leadership team. Clearly communicate results, issues, trends and all other relevant financial issues to leadership team. Manage/consolidate monthly and quarterly reporting, challenging where necessary, results and performance. Complete annual and longer range plans for the business. Develop, introduce and implement financial tools that drive key business metrics (monthly KPI's). Extensive project work. Monthly forecast preparation. Net Working Capital management. Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Extensive experience of operating as a business partner. Strong analysis skills. Solid senior stakeholder management skillset. Salary and Benefits:
