Your role at Vertice

As the Head of Finance at Vertice, you will lead our finance team to provide strategic insights, ensure robust financial management, and drive financial performance across the business. This role focuses on enhancing operational excellence within a dynamic, scale-up environment.

You will mentor and develop a growing finance team, establishing best practices in financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will need to thrive in ambiguity, take initiative to identify and lead projects, and believe no task is too small for you. This is a rewarding role in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.

Responsibilities Lead, develop, and manage a multi-layered, high-performing finance team to establish a best-in-class function as we scale. Support the VP of Finance in overseeing finance operations, including financial planning, accounting, compliance, and reporting. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. Implement scalable finance systems, processes and controls, ensuring compliance whilst maximizing efficiencies. Collaborate cross-functionally with other operations teams to drive process improvements. Requirements

You'll have 10+ years of experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or management position within a high-growth technology company. Hands-on operator experience in a scaling environment, bringing a solid professional grounding and understanding of scaling challenges. Proven ability to lead teams and get the best out of functional experts. Highly versatile and extremely comfortable executing - you must thrive on getting things done. Data-savvy and sound commercial thinking, capable of analyzing data, sorting signal from the noise, and crafting compelling presentations.
