Role Overview:
The Head of Finance & Legal will take ownership of Flagright's financial and legal operations globally, spanning our offices in the US, UK, Germany, India, and Singapore. This is a hands-on, operational role for a generalist with strong FP&A expertise who thrives in high-growth environments and is excited to take on significant responsibilities while building and optimizing processes to support rapid scaling.
You will
Prepare and manage investor updates, financial statements, and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and operational planning. Optimize yield on main accounts and manage liquidity across jurisdictions to ensure efficient cash flow. Oversee accounts payable and enforce accounts receivable processes to maintain smooth cash flow operations. Collaborate with external accountants and tax experts to optimize accounting and tax strategies, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Implement inter-company pricing measures, including managing transfer pricing documentation and compliance. Liaise with external lawyers to manage contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure global regulatory compliance. Act as the primary point of contact for external legal and financial service providers, ensuring alignment with operational objectives. Build scalable systems for expense management, vendor payments, and reconciliation processes. Work cross-functionally with teams in all regions to ensure operational goals align with overall company strategy. Your profile
5+ years of experience in finance, legal, or operational roles, with significant exposure to FP&A (must have). Proven experience in an early-stage or fast-growth company (must have). Hands-on expertise in financial modeling, monthly reconciliation, and treasury operations. Familiarity with transfer pricing and intercompany compliance (preferred). Experience in VC-backed environments (a plus). Experience in a multinational setup (a plus). Strong generalist skillset with the ability to manage diverse operational responsibilities. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work across geographies and teams. Benefits
