Head of Finance | PE Backed Tech | Start-up | London/Hybrid
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 (Depending on experience) - Plus excellent benefits including bonus and share options
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing PE backed Tech company who are looking for an organised, detail-oriented individual to join the finance team as Head of Finance reporting to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of financial operations (Cashflow, P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Provide reporting and insights to senior leaders to help inform business direction
- Collaborative with teams across the company to support business growth by contributing financial expertise to strategic initiatives and projects
- Prepare and complete month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting Essential Background:
- Perform financial planning, annual budgeting, and day to day cost management
Professional Skills Required:
- Recognised accounting qualification, ACA or ACCA, with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Demonstrated experience working in a start-up environment or SMEs and scaling up
- Experience working in a high-growth environment.
- Tech/SAAS experience, highly desirable
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing finance teams
- Strategic mindset, ability to think critically and provide insights to drive business results
- Effective communicator at all levels with the ability to build trusted relationships
