Head of Finance

to join our senior leadership team and drive financial performance, enhance business decision-making, and support our continued growth. Job Description Lead the finance function, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team to drive business growth and profitability. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the board and investors, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the business. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working with operational teams to align financial targets with business objectives. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders. Oversee the company's financial controls and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. Identify and implement cost control and efficiency initiatives across the business. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure effective collaboration and high-performance standards. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive performance improvement across the business.

The Successful Applicant ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a private equity-backed, fast-paced, or manufacturing environment (food manufacturing experience preferred). Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience of developing high-performing finance teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders. Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset; ability to balance operational detail with long-term planning. Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of supporting business growth and profitability. Knowledge of financial software systems and ERP solutions. Experience working with private equity investors and managing reporting requirements for stakeholders is desirable.
