Lead, Inspire and develop our Finance team Sevenoaks District Council provides a unique opportunity for you as we are financially self-sufficient and have two companies that you’ll play a key role in. You’ll have responsibility for the continued delivery of the Council’s budget strategy and generating income from existing (and new) assets to provide the foundations for delivering the Council's vision. You’ll also take the financial lead on a variety of different projects across the Council, providing advice and guidance on financial viability. With your leadership, the Finance team will continue to flourish and enhance the Council’s success whatever the future may hold. So, if you are looking to take the next step up and hone your strategic skills or if you are an experienced financial leader, then come and make a lasting impact in our district. This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (3 days p/w) and home working (2 days p/w).
