Permanent, Full Time We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead a high performing professional finance function that adds value to CHP through adopting a business partnering approach and continuously improving to enhance customer outcomes. The role will support the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Management Team (EMT) by ensuring the Finance team enables delivery across the organisation within CHP’s Financial Regulations. The role will take responsibility for the completeness, accuracy, and reliability of all financial information within the organisation, championing strong financial rigour and management. It will also play a key part in managing relevant external stakeholder relationships such as investors. What you'll be doing

Lead the Financial Accounting, Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Treasury teams. Lead on the efficient and effective delivery of the Performance Cycle, from Business Planning, to Budgeting, to Reporting, to Forecasting to Analysis. Lead the delivery of the year-end process across the group, including liaising with external audit and ensuring timely production and publication of the Annual Group Financial Statements for the organisation, ensuring adherence to all relevant accounting policies. Prepare accurately all financial returns required by the Regulator of Social Housing and any other bodies (e.g. HMRC), including the Financial Forecast Return (FFR), SDR, and Quarterly Financial Surveys for the Regulator of Social Housing. Responsible for the annual budget and business planning process ensuring that CHP remains financially robust for the coming financial year and into the future. Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Group across CHP, working cross-functionally to ensure organisational goals are met, working closely with other Senior Leaders in the organisation to overcome operational challenges, lead on initiatives and projects, and support the EMT with CHP’s strategic goals. What we are looking for

A relevant CCAB – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification. Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience. Strong understanding of monetary markets, business investment management, and financing strategies. Proven ability to engage with management and influence decision-making in CHP directorates and with the Board and Executive Team. Extensive experience in preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, financial statements, and complex financial forecasting models.
