We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Financial Management to join a dynamic Public Sector Finance team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, reporting, and management of the organisation.

Description

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that align with the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and Committees.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the organisation's core financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial advice and support decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Profile

  • CCAB qualified accountant with current registration with a professional body.
  • Post-graduate qualification or equivalent evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Extensive experience in financial management within a large organisation.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing financial teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
