Head of Financial Operations .
Working closely with the Group FC, the role is to ensure the delivery of the Finance Operations objectives for the areas of P2P and O2C and to deliver finance operations strategy, objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The role holder is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall operational management strategy including technology, people, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures the right subject matter experts are in place and attached to projects to provide input and challenge on changes that will impact Finance Operations. Ensures an effective Control Framework is in place, takes ownership of any issues, and gets them resolved. Motivates and leads their teams to deliver outstanding performance by reviewing processes & procedures to minimize errors and improve efficiency, ensuring the teams understand how they affect the wider business. Works with Finance Transformation to drive continuous improvement and automation of manual processes, contributing to wider Finance transformation initiatives for an improved future target operating model. Coherently conveys deep industry knowledge to proactively recommend new and innovative solutions tailored to be market leading within Finance Operations. Brings experience in target operating model and process design & development, using strong quantitative and qualitative skills to identify complex problems, analyze them, and conceptualize solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience of leading larger teams, ideally within the insurance industry. Track record of leading teams through change and developing and implementing strategy and process change. Qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience. Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all relevant Compliance and Regulatory rules and procedures. The ability to interpret and analyze complex data and financial information, using this to make informed decisions.
