As the Head of Food Technology, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Food Technology department. Additionally, you will inspire and guide a team of passionate teachers, ensuring that high standards of teaching and learning are maintained. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Food Technology department, providing strategic guidance and support to staff members Develop and implement an engaging and innovative curriculum that meets national standards and prepares students for future opportunities Create dynamic lesson plans that cater to students' diverse learning styles and interests Foster a love for food and cooking, creating an environment that ignites students' creativity and passion Organize practical cooking sessions, ensuring students have access to state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality ingredients Collaborate with industry professionals and other departments to organize workshops, competitions, and field trips that enhance students' learning experiences Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support for growth and improvement Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of food technology education and implement best practices in teaching and learning Minimum Requirements

Relevant degree and teaching qualification Proven experience teaching Food Technology at a primary or secondary level Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for Food Technology A genuine passion for food and cooking, with a commitment to instilling this passion in students Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Application If you are passionate about Food Technology education and ready to make a positive impact, we would love to receive your application.
