Role as Head of French:

As Head of French, you will lead and inspire a team of passionate language teachers, driving forward high standards in teaching and learning. Your role will include curriculum development, staff mentoring, and fostering a love for French across all key stages.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Leading the planning and delivery of the French curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Supporting and mentoring teachers within the MFL department. Monitoring and analysing student performance data to drive improvement. Promoting language learning through innovative teaching strategies and enrichment activities. Collaborating with the senior leadership team to contribute to whole-school initiatives.

What the School is Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS) with expertise in teaching French at all key stages. Proven experience of leadership or the ability to take on a Head of Department role. Strong academic background and outstanding references. A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students and staff alike. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
