Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a

Head of Global Finance Programmes

to join our Group Finance team on a permanent basis. The role will be based at London or Basingstoke office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.

What You'll Do

Lead Change: Align global finance practices, streamline processes, and deliver measurable improvements. Build Partnerships: Collaborate with teams across Europe and Asia, working with internal and external stakeholders. Govern with Confidence: Oversee complex programmes, manage risks, track benefits, and ensure timely delivery. This role offers the opportunity to influence senior leaders, navigate cross-cultural dynamics, and embed meaningful change. Qualifications & Experience

Experience & Expertise

Proven track record in managing large-scale, fast-paced finance transformation projects. Extensive experience in global business environments, adept at navigating cross-cultural dynamics. Expertise in stakeholder management across all organizational levels, building strong relationships. Advanced communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information clearly. Deep knowledge of quality management principles to drive continuous improvement. Strong organizational awareness, with insights into cross-functional challenges and solutions. Consistent delivery of high-quality results under demanding conditions. Skilled in risk assessment and management, ensuring effective mitigation strategies. Success in establishing governance frameworks and managing RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies). Skills & Competencies

Advanced analytical and financial skills to inform strategy and advise on risk and regulatory considerations. Persuasive stakeholder engagement, balancing risk and reward with informed decision-making. Effectively drives transformation by articulating benefits and securing team support.
