This SME organisation is headquartered in London, and boasts a strong international presence, providing services to clients from various parts of the world. Job Description Provide leadership to the global HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the company's business objectives. Promote the company values and ensure the team's alignment with these. Manage HR-related projects, such as talent acquisition, retention strategies, and succession planning. Provide guidance on all aspects of HR, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation. Ensure compliance with regulations in all regions where the company operates. Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in HR management, applying these to improve the department's effectiveness. Oversee the use of Bamboo HR and other HR management systems, ensuring they are used effectively to support HR activities. The Successful Applicant The successful Head of Global HR will have: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry. Recent Financial Services regulatory knowlege (FCA / PRA) within a Financial Services firm(s). Substantial and recent M&A experience on a global scale Demonstrable experience of compensation and benefits alignment within a Financial Services setting on a global scale. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Demonstrable experience of recently managing a HR team on a global scale Excellent knowledge of HR practices and employment law, both nationally and globally. Proficiency in Bamboo HR or a similar HR management system. The ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
