The Head of Governance and Quality role will specifically support our Prometheus (Birmingham) and Mountain Healthcare (Stevenage) businesses within the RCI Group providing a full Governance and Quality remit to each business whilst helping to drive the businesses forward. The Head of Quality and Governance provides leadership and strategic direction for the Quality and Governance in the organisation (SARC, Custody or any new services). This role ensures the implementation and coordination of functions related to patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and accreditation standards. The post holder works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring services are safe, effective, and aligned with best practices. Additionally, the role includes oversight of compliance with regulatory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and accreditation standards, including UKAS ISO 15189 in the development and implementation of ISO 15189 and the FSR Code of Practice leading up to accreditation.
