Head of Governance & Risk , you will lead the team that defines the operating model for the global M&C unit, help manage the critical risks facing the company, and assure that GFMC continues to work to the highest levels of quality and transparency. The role, which is a senior leader position, reports into the Head of Strategy, Planning & Finance, and forms part of the unit's leadership team. What you will do: Team leadership.

Setting the overall direction for the new Governance and Risk unit, including the build of a highly motivated, extremely professional team. Risk Management.

Working with business stakeholders to understand and manage the risk landscape for Marketing & Corporate Relations (which includes Government & Policy Advocacy and Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility). This remit requires working closely with senior and executive stakeholders across Ericsson to understand and develop effective, cross business approaches to risk management, and regular reporting to the Business Risk Committee (co-chaired by the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Legal Officer). Risk Management will be individually owned by the Head of Governance and Risk. Policy & Governance.

Understanding the scope of the recently updated Ericsson Group Governance Pillars and managing their implementation within GFMC. This responsibility includes review of the Ericsson Group Management System (EGMS) for GFMC, and co-ordination of the drafting and update of the Group Policy documents owned by GFMC (Government, Sustainability, Human Rights, OHS and communications). Quality Assurance.

Acting as the point of contact to Group Function Global Operations to review and agree the quality assessment schedule for GFMC (internal and external assessments). This responsibility area also includes drive & co-ordination of wider quality related documentation and audits - such as Business Continuity Management and Information Security Risk Assessments. 'Special Projects' support for the CMO.

Providing support as needed to the Chief Marketing Officer relating to governance, risk and global policy matters as they arise. The skills you bring: University degree or equivalent. Experience in team leadership. Significant experience in business governance, risk management, quality assurance or complex project management. Subject experience in areas of government & policy advocacy and/or sustainability & corporate responsibility is desirable. Highly structured individual, with ability to create and drive engaging processes. Strategic thinker, capable of appraising complex topics and distilling into key insights & practical actions. Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to motivate and drive cross functional and virtual teams. Self-starter, able to work under own direction. Comfortable to work with and where necessary challenge senior & executive stakeholders. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluency in English is essential.
