Stockport Grammar School is seeking to appoint a
Head of Grounds . The Head of Grounds role is critical to the effective operation of the school site and specifically the delivery of sports provision. Within the role, there will be the opportunity to lead by example and carry out a wide variety of tasks across the estate from minor repairs to major grounds projects or managing contractors with more specialist skills. The role involves working collaboratively alongside other Heads of support departments in areas such as Caretaking (Site Services) and Maintenance, and working seamlessly with the Director of Sport. The School offers a competitive salary and enrolment into a generous contributory pension scheme. In addition, employees who have children in the School are eligible for a percentage remission of fees. Lunch is provided free of charge during term time, and all staff are able to use the School’s sports facilities which include use of the swimming pool.
