Procurement Heads is working with a fast-growing, PE-backed business operating in a niche digital technology market, supporting their recruitment of a Head of Group Supply Chain on a 12-month contract basis.
Overview As the lead role within our client’s Supply Chain function, this position takes ownership of a small team during a period of business growth and investment. Requiring a combination of strategic leadership, process improvement/creation and “hands on” tactical support, the successful candidate will support both immediate performance and long-term growth.
Overseeing Planning & Analysis, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Reverse Logistics.
Key Skills In depth understanding of and experience within supply chain, procurement, inventory management, S&OP, distribution, and reverse logistics. Proven experience leading supply chain teams in both conventional and consumer-driven environments. Expertise in managing global supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management. Skilled in driving efficiency through lean or agile methodologies. Knowledge of ethical sourcing, environmental compliance, and reverse logistics.
Location, Remuneration & Timeframe 12-month fixed term contract £70-80,000, plus holiday and private family medical insurance Flexible hybrid working arrangements, including visits to offices/sites across several UK locations
