The Role As our Head of Growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Betmate’s trajectory. This isn’t just a marketing role - it’s an opportunity to contribute directly to our bottom line, help trade our business relentlessly, and test innovative ways to attract new customers. Day to day, you’ll push the boundaries of how we grow, leveraging both unconventional growth hacks and tried-and-true strategies. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Head of Brand and Founding team to ensure every initiative aligns with our vision and resonates with our community. From forging partnerships with local football clubs to orchestrating guerrilla marketing campaigns around major sporting events, your work will fuel Betmate’s expansion. What You’ll Do Own User Acquisition:

Design and execute multi-channel growth strategies to rapidly increase our user base, including a strong understanding of ad networks and how to leverage them alongside other acquisition channels. Experiment and Iterate:

Launch and execute creative growth experiments using growth hacking experiments, running city-wide activations, or collaborating with influencers. Data-Driven Insights:

Utilise our analytics tools to track user acquisition metrics, ROAS and inform data-driven decisions. Build the Growth Engine:

Establish repeatable processes, playbooks, and frameworks to scale what works. But also don’t shy away from the classic “do things that don’t scale” approach. As our first full-time growth hire, you’ll lay the foundations for future expansion. Who You Are: Go-Getter, Self-Starter:

You have hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing and can demonstrate success in scaling user acquisition and driving growth. You’ve been “there and done it” - perhaps at a startup, challenger brand, or a similarly fast-paced environment. Sports Enthusiast:

While you don’t need to be a walking sports encyclopedia, a genuine passion for sports and an understanding of fan behaviour will give you a head start. Startup-Minded:

You are comfortable navigating uncertainty, pivoting strategies, and thinking outside the box. Hands-On Executor:

You’re not just brainstorming creative growth hacks - you’re rolling up your sleeves to make them happen, ensuring initiatives are executed to a high standard. Excellent Communication:
