Head of Health & Safety Drive the Future of Safety at Williams Racing Are you a passionate and driven Health & Safety leader with a desire to make a real impact in the world of Formula 1? Williams Racing is looking for an exceptional individual to become our Head of Health & Safety. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our Health & Safety strategy, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all our employees. What you'll do: Develop and implement our Health & Safety strategy and management systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and legislation. Oversee and conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks. Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive training programs to promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization. Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventative actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with all departments, including engineering, maintenance, and operations, to embed Health & Safety best practices into daily operations and project planning. Prepare and present regular reports to management and regulatory agencies on Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) performance, incidents, and compliance status. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance Health & Safety practices, policies, and procedures. What you'll bring: A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Environmental Professional) would be advantageous. Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety role, ideally within a fast-paced and complex environment. A deep understanding of Health & Safety legislation, risk assessment methodologies, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
