Proclinical is seeking a Head of Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) to lead strategic efforts in securing optimal access and reimbursement for a diverse portfolio of medicines. This role focuses on creating and implementing effective pricing and reimbursement strategies to ensure broad patient access. The successful candidate will engage with key stakeholders and provide expert guidance to drive market access goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for pricing and reimbursement processes in the UK and Ireland.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance market access strategies.
Lead the development of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions and related activities.
Support commercial access initiatives, including pricing strategies and tender processes.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key payers and stakeholders.
Provide leadership and strategic counsel across the portfolio and pipeline medicines.
Influence policy development to benefit the portfolio and keep the business informed of changes.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Degree in life sciences; postgraduate qualification in Health Economics or Economic Evaluations is advantageous.
Experience in strategic leadership within market access and HTA submissions.
Strong understanding of oncology, rare diseases, and neurology.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Mastery of NHS decision processes and stakeholder engagement.
