Role: Head of HSE Salary: Competitive Location: Various sites across the UK This is a newly created senior position with our Sales GB business unit. This role will be responsible for leading the HSE and wellbeing strategy and delivery across the business unit and its operational sites throughout Great Britain. Our Sales GB team deliver permanent steel frame buildings typically on a design and build, full turnkey basis to customers in various market sectors. Portakabin is committed to achieving zero harm and you will be instrumental in achieving this by working closely with the leadership team, managers, staff, contractors and customers, leading and maintaining high standards of safety, health and wellbeing to ensure that the business unit operates in full compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and ultimately deliver our commitment of zero harm. To succeed in this role, you will have extensive HSE experience in the construction industry likely gained through working in contracting organisations. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skillset to deliver strategic direction and operational support. You will have a track record in safety culture change and supporting businesses on their improvement journey, coaching and mentoring stakeholders at all levels. As a Health and Safety Lead, you will have: Strong experience in the construction sector Delivered safety culture change Ability to operate at a strategic level and also support operational teams A valid UK Driving Licence NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) A proven track record in delivering HSE results A thorough understanding of all HSE Regulations Why Portakabin?
