Our stunning care home Ashlands Manor Care Centre is a purpose-built care home facility in Sale, South Manchester. The home is registered to provide care to 57 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential, nursing, and dementia residential. All team members are hand-selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. New Care has had 0 agency usage for over 4 years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care to residents from staff that know them and that residents know and trust. Across New Care, all of our staff are paid the national living wage or above. We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team. You will be responsible for organising the Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to enable a smooth and efficient dining experience for our residents. You will oversee dining room preparation, cleanliness, and setup, ensuring that meals are served timely, presentably, and correctly. This role is exciting as it involves leading a team of Hospitality Assistants, including managing rotas, training, and supervisions. We have a 40-hour contract available with an hourly rate of £12.44! Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working. Role Responsibilities:

Ensure a high standard of hospitality service. Support and assist visitors. Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as per company HACCP. Adhere to all training provided. Ensure records and reports are properly written up, e.g., cleaning schedules, work sheets, fridge temperatures, and that all HACCP paperwork is completed. Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the hospitality team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift. Coach staff and participate in ongoing development of staff. Promote safeguarding the welfare of adults that you are responsible for or come into contact with. Skills and Experience Required:

Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential. Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable. Ability to effectively communicate with other team members is essential. Participation in activities organised in the Home is essential. The Benefits:
