Head of ICP We are delighted to be partnering with a leading company in the energy infrastructure sector to recruit a Head of Independent Connection Provider (ICP). About the Role As the Head of ICP, you will take full ownership of the electrical connections division, leading strategic, operational, and commercial activities. You will be instrumental in driving business growth, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering outstanding client satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team, make a significant impact, and contribute to the wider goals of an ambitious organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the strategic vision for the ICP division, aligning with overall business goals. Operational Excellence:

Oversee the design, management, and delivery of electrical connections, ensuring adherence to DNO/IDNO standards, safety, and quality requirements. Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and develop a skilled team of engineers, project managers, and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture. Client Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, and other stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and service delivery. Commercial Oversight:

Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. Innovation:

Drive process improvements and leverage new technologies to enhance project efficiency and delivery standards. Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership experience within the energy or utilities sector. Key requirements include: Proven experience in a senior role within the ICP, DNO, or energy infrastructure sectors. Deep understanding of electrical connections processes, industry regulations, and technical standards. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion. Strong financial and commercial management skills, with a track record of driving business growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
