What we’re looking for
Experience Proven experience leading IT operations in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, preferably in financial services. Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Office 365, Azure Entra ID, and enterprise security solutions. Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and practices, with experience in introducing them into organisations. Understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices. Experience in multi-cloud setups and/or environments with a range of tightly integrated SaaS solutions will be beneficial. Track record of leveraging metrics to unlock efficiency and identify gaps in skills or capacity on an ongoing basis. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. A strong growth mindset and a proactive, adaptable, can-do attitude, with a solutions-focused approach to challenges. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with a growth mindset and can-do mentality. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a knack for translating technical language into business terms. What you’ll be doing
Work with your team and the company’s leadership to establish SLAs and metrics/KPIs to measure yourself and your team against. Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Drive the efficient delivery of IT operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems. Oversee the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft-based technologies and solutions. Ensure IT operations align with business objectives, enabling teams to work effectively and achieve success. Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery. Adapt and respond to the changing needs of a fast-paced organisation.
