Do you want to be the senior figure within the inspection department and be working on the latest software and CMM machines? Look no further. This position will be very hands-on, helping to program & inspect parts daily, but also you will be the go-to figure in the team to offer your expertise to other inspectors. It is a fast-moving, busy sub-contractor with a great variety of parts coming out of the machine shop into the inspection department.
The Job:
As a Chief Quality Inspector, you will help with the increased workload in the inspection department. The role will involve quality checking a variety of metallic parts, including first-off inspection and final inspection before sending out to various customers. The work can be varied as they are a sub-contractor, so can be anything from one-offs to small batch runs.
You will be overseeing a team of 2 quality inspectors alongside your hands-on duties, so you will be fully in control of the inspection department and can really make it your own. The role is also a Monday to Friday position with no shift work required.
