This position will be very hands-on, helping to program & inspect parts daily, but you will also be the go-to figure in the team to offer your expertise to other inspectors. It is a fast-moving, busy sub-contractor with a great variety of parts coming out of the machine shop into the inspection department.
The Job:
As a Chief Quality Inspector, you will help with the increased workload in the inspection department. The role will involve quality checking a variety of metallic parts, including first-off inspection and final inspection before sending out to various customers. The work can be varied as they are a sub-contractor, so can include anything from one-offs to small batch runs.
Your Responsibilities:
Overseeing a team of 2 quality inspectors while performing hands-on duties. Fully controlling the inspection department. Ensuring quality checks are performed accurately and efficiently.
