Arden White is currently looking for experienced CMM Inspectors to become part of a highly skilled manufacturing team at our Motorsport Client in St Neots.

You will be required to program Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using PC DMIS software offline using CAD models, support technical operations department and oversee the inspection department.

What will you do as the Head of Inspection? Produce CMM programs, inspection schedules and FAIR / ISIR paperwork at the front end of the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with customer specific requirements. Liaise with relevant internal staff and customers to review drawings, measurements method and quality issues. Oversee inspection team, help with training and lend support in inspection when needed.

What experience will you need? Experienced programmer using PC DMIS or similar software, inspecting precision machined components. Worked within a fast moving, dynamic inspection department working to tight deadlines and exacting standards. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Knowledge of PPAP and visual FAIR an advantage.

Skills & Competences required Strong attention to detail. Good understanding of GD&T and Datum structures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good PC skills. Excellent work / time management skills. A confident telephone manner. Team work ethic.
